MPC post

Hi everyone! Today's theme for the Craft with Cutters challenge at My Paper Crafting is Pearl! For the "pearls" on this card I used both the self-adhesive plastic kind and Viva Decor pearl paint.

The cut is from the Art Nouveau Cricut cartridge. I really like many of the cuts on that cartridge and find myself using it quite often. I cut this at 3 1/2" so it took up quite a bit of real estate on the front of my card. I didn't mind, though as it is a gorgeous cut! I used some Prima paper for the background and all of the solid color paper is from my stash. Some of it is several years old, but it's good to make use of it, right?? I also used some ivory seam binding from Wild Orchid Crafts just to add a little more texture to the card. The moth is mounted on foam tape to add some dimension as well.

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

  2. This card is beautiful Lynn! I love how your moth turned out and yes, we need to make good use of our papers from our stash, old and new!! I'm glad you cut this moth big because it is so beautiful it commands all attention on it! The background paper works beautifully with it as well as the seam binding! Hugs!
