Santa Clause is coming to BBTB2!

Well, Christmas is almost here and Santa is coming to visit at BBTB2. Melanie chose to have Santa be the theme for the week. It is ridiculously hot here in Florida. It's supposed to be in the mid to upper 80's for Christmas and it's really hard to get into the spirit.

Many people will be spending part of the day at the beach so I thought I'd go with that idea for my Santa. He is from the Jolly Holidays cartridge. The lights are from the Winter Frolic cartridge. The tree is from Pirates and Mermaids and the sand is from Paper Dolls Every Day. The paper is all Recollections and there is some clear Wink of Stella on his beard and some other pieces for some sparkle.

This is our last challenge for the year, so join us and enjoy!

Each project is one entry into the drawing for the prize.

Be sure to visit each Design Team member and leave a comment-those will be put into a drawing for the following:

Here is my project for the hop

I used the top row of the Bingo card...a Cricut image from the Jolly Holidays collection, a Christmas embossing folder (Cuttlebug with round tree medallions on it) and some Christmas Ribbon. There was a little oops when I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen stamp, so I just made it into a "beauty mark". The paper is all Recollections from Michaels.

So here is the line-up:

Karla
Sara

Christina
Diana L.

Ornaments at BBTB2

This week we are having a Christmas ornament challenge at BBTB2.

I used glittery silver and shiny gold paper on a white background for this card. It looks much cooler in person, I still have trouble getting good pictures with glitter and shine.  The ornament is from the Winter Wonderland cartridge. The embossing is a Cuttlebug folder.

Come join us for some last minute Christmas fun!

Christmas Wildlife at BBTB2

This week is my first turn to host at BBTB2 and the theme I chose was Christmas wildlife. We were to use an animal or a bird on our projects. There are so many great images to choose from it was hard to decide...so I didn't, I just made more than one project.

My first project used a polar bear cut from A Quilted Christmas. The sentiment is from the Winter Wonderland cartridge. I used a Darice embossing folder for the background. There is some Wink of Stella on the saddle piece. I may add a couple of silver snowflakes, what do you think?

My second project is a shaped card that I made using the Quilted Ornaments cartridge. The bear is from Teddy Bears on Parade, love that cartridge! The Design Space file for all of these projects will be at the end of the post.

My last project is an ornament, or flat card, made from the same image set. The birds are from the Winter Frolic image set. It's about 6" tall. I used vinyl as the gold as I didn't have any gold paper that I liked.

All 3 of these projects are on the same DS file that can be found here:
