I'm re-posting this on Getting Cricky because she has challenged us to post one of our favorite cards using her stamps. This is one of mine.
I'm actually getting the Simply Sunday challenge done on Sunday this week. Go me, as my daughter used to say when she was little;-) Kristal's blog post this week is very real, something we all deal with all the time. Check it out if you get a chance.
The challenge this week was to use a pen in the project. I used a black Pilot precise pen to make small dash lines around the mat and the sentiment. I also used Promarkers to color the image from A Day for Daisies. The sentiment is from the KAndrew Designs (love typing that) Positive Thoughts stamp set. The image is printed on watercolor paper and I really liked coloring on it. My coloring still needs much work, but I enjoy it. The image and sentiment are popped off the page with foam squares. I made the little puff at the top by putting some Score Tape on a 1" circle, placing the end of the fiber in the center and winding out. I probably should have started from the outside but wasn't sure if I wanted it to go all the way to the edges (I didn't). Have a super week everyone!
Recipe:
Paper - Making memories
Image - A Day for Daisies
Sentiment - KAndrew Designs - Positive Thoughts
Spellbinders nestabilities - Labels 4
