Bird on a branch (**and reminder)


The challenge this week at BBTB2 was to do a bird and a branch. I combined cuts from 2 Cricut cartridges to create this card. The peacock is from the Art Nouveau cartridge and the branch is from the Pagoda cartridge. The peacock was cut at 5" and the branch at 1 1/2". I did have to cut the branch down a bit as it was a little long, but it would have looked weird if I had cut it any smaller. 

The back patterned paper is from K and Co.and the vellum is from my stash. The rest is cut from a pad of mixed colors I got from T.J. Maxx. There was no label as to who the manufacturer was. The gold braid is from my Webster's Pages sale box. (I will definitely be purchasing that again, what a great value!) The stamp is from a K Andrew Designs retired set. I used Stazon ink to stamp on the vellum so it wouldn't smear. 

**On another note, I am only 3 away from 100 followers. I mentioned a month or so ago that I would have a give-away when I get there. I've been collecting things to add to the mix and may post a picture tomorrow or Monday.
