Post #2 for today, who knew that could happen?? Anyway...this is a super quick card I put together for the weekly challenge at Birthday Sundaes. This week there was an inspiration photo to follow.
It is very summery and just begged to have sharks on it, although dolphins would have probably worked. Most of the paper was from the DCWV Linen Closet mat stack, the blue glitter is theirs as well. The tan is Recollections and the blue "water" is from my stash. The sharks are from the Life is a Beach Cricut cartridge and are cut at 2". I used the "flip" feature on my Expression to cut them facing each other. The sand dollar is a brad from the Eyelet Outlet. I punched the bubbles with a MS edge punch and the sharks are on MS foam circles. The stamp is an old one and I have no idea who made it. Remember I said it was quick? I didn't ink around any edges or do anything fancy and I think it took a grand total of 20 minutes to make and most of that was picking out papers and making the beach ball. That's actually the second ball, I tried to put some designs on the other one with a Sharpie and the ink ran on the paper. In the future I will try to remember to check on a scrap first when I do things I'm not sure about.
