It's been a long time since I've posted anything, but I decided to take the plunge today and post a card to a couple of challenges. I have made a few things in the last months, just haven't posted any of them.
It seems several of my favorite challenge blogs have decided to close, so I figured I should participate in some others to show support if nothing else. I think this card is possibly going to 3 places, not sure yet. It's definitely going into the new Wobble Wednesday's Challenge that promotes Action Wobbles. I've used them since they came out and LOVE them! They make so much difference and are super cute for children's cards. The challenge this week was to make something with a bunny on it. I used the Disney Classics Cricut cartridge for Thumper. He is cut at 3". Anyone who knows these carts knows how many tiny little pieces there are on some of these images. I probably should have cut him a little larger. He is on an Action Wobble and is really cute when he wiggles. I had to cut it down a bit to get it to fit on him (back to the "he should have been bigger" thing). All of the paper he is cut from in scrap and he is glued together with Scotch quick dry adhesive (another love!). The background prints are K & Co.. I flocked him by covering him with Glossy Accents and grey flock that I got at Michael's in the $1.00 section. The pink pieces also have glossy accents just for some shine (even though it doesn't show in the pic). His cheeks look really brown in the picture but they aren't that dark IRL. The ribbon is satin and I honestly don't remember where it came from. The sentiment is from the "Spring has Sprung" set at Pink by Design and was stamped with Momento black ink.. I will probably enter this into this week's Fantabulous Cricut challenge also, as it is supposed to be something with a gentle animal on it. (oops, forgot the Martha Stewart flower edge punch on the top of the flowered paper)
