Christmas Window

The challenge this week at the Christmas Card Challenge blog was to make a card with a window. I used a Prima paper 6x6 paper pad, North Country, and let it do most of the work on this card. The window is cut from the Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge at 10". The red paper and the scene are from the paper pad. You can't see it in the picture, but there is plastic film behind the window frame to make it look more like a real window. I used 1/8" score tape to attach the film to the frame. A great way to recycle some packing material.

The twine is Martha Stewart, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (love them!), and the sentiment is from the K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set. I used Momento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped directly on the card. It worked really well and added a little to the distress feel of the background paper.
