CAS challenge

I am bound and determined to play along with as many challenges as I can this summer, even if they are things I've never done before (or rarely done). The theme of the challenge this week at CASology is kids. Here is my card.

To be honest, I liked it better before I stamped the sentiment, but it's ok. The girl is an image from the Cricut Nursery Rhyme cartridge. The sentiment is from KAndrew Designs. The background is embossed with a star folder from Darice. I used the slice feature on Cricut Design Space to slice the shadow from the white paper and then cut a rectangle with a pierced rectangle die from My Favorite Things. I used foam tape to raise it off the page and glued the blue image directly to the background.

  1. Lynn, this is such a fun, patriotic card! I love the embossed stars in the background, a perfect match for that sweet girl image holding a star! Thanks for joining us at CASology!
