~This Weeks Challenge~
Sketch Challenge
Create a project inspired by the following sketch:
Sketch is from Card Positioning Systems

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

This was a fun sketch! Have I mentioned I love sketch challenges? Here is my card:

I picked up the theme from last week (use a cut or a cartridge you've never used) and incorporated it into my challenge this week. I've never used this cut before, and I'm not sure I've ever used the cartridge. This image is from the Freshly Picked cartridge. There are some really great cuts on there, especially for spring/summer. I cut the image at 3". All of the solid paper is from the packs that Michael's and Joann's have had on sale for the last few weeks. I'm not completely happy with the look of this card, I think it could have used some embossing one the background and maybe under the ribbon. Any thoughts on that? I really would like some input.

Have a great week everybody and please come join the challenge!

  1. Hey Lynn! Your card is so pretty and perfect for spring! LOVE that border punch you used! Great job with the sketch and using a cut you hadn't before! Just FYI, I couldn't get the link on the FCCB page to your blog to work, maybe it was just me, but wanted to let you know in case something was wrong :)

    Have a great week!

  2. Cute card! I really like the border punch you used and congrats using another new cut/cartridge too! I couldn't get to your blog from Monday's post either - not sure why. :-)
