~This Weeks Challenge~
Create a project inspired by the sketch below:

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.
Here is my card:

I used the cartridge Love You a Latte and cut the cupcake at 2 1/2". The top looks a little Christmas-ish in the photo, but it's not as bad IRL (the red background probably didn't help with that). I really enjoy using sketches, especially when I'm having a hard time getting started. I used 2 different embossing folders on the white and lots of white gel pen. This is a belated birthday card for a friend whose actual birthday was over spring break and I didn't see her. Have a great week everyone and please play along with us, this is a fun sketch!

Feeling a little....green!

Challenge #202 Use the Color Green

Be Wild and Free stamp set

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

I know, you were expecting St. Patrick's Day...sorry. I decided to use my Mark's Finest stamps instead.

I used the Family set to create my card. It's bigger than I usually make, 5 x 7. It's weird how making something a different size can throw off your crafty balance. It was a bit of a challenge for me.

The cuts are from the Art Deco Cricut cartridge. I find that this stamp set and cartridge pair really well. The patterned paper is from K and Company and the solid is Recollections. I stamped the image in several different colors and types of ink before I finally decided on Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day and wonderful week! We start spring break at the end of the week and I'm really looking forward to it!!!

This is my project for the week. I gave it to a friend at work for her birthday. I think she liked it as there was a reference to a certain type of kitty (see the belly) on the inside sentiment.

I used the Create a Critter cartridge and cut the cat at 3 1/4". The belly is flocked to create the "soft" part of the card. It's on an Action Wobble to add a little more fun! I tried to add a little video clip but it won't upload from my camera, bummer.

Supplies:
Create a Critter Cricut cartridge
Recollections card stock
DCWV patterned paper
Action Wobble
Stardust glitter pen
Recollections bling and flock
