Totally Tags n ATCs

Good morning! Welcome to the first day of Totally Tags n ATC's a My Paper Crafting. I'm moving out of my card "comfort zone" and joining this fun new adventure.

This is my first ever venture into the world of the Artist Trading Card, or ATC. It is the standard 2.5" x 3.5" card. The backing is medium weight chipboard covered with patterned paper. The stamp is Martha Stewart. I used a technique I've been wanting to try that I saw on a Splitcoast Stampers video. You cut out pieces and layer them on top of each other, stamp, and then put the borders behind the image pieces. The largest pink square is 2" square and the white piece is 1 3/4". The smaller pink piece is 1 1/4" and the small white piece is an inch square. It turned out pretty cute.  The ribbon required to keep with the theme is behind the image and the bow on top.The pearl drops are Viva Decor pearl pen.

I hope you all enjoy the great projects for the day!

  1. I just love this little work of spectacular art my friend! How clever to stamp those pieces layered like that. That is a really neat technique that I want to try. You have a wonderfully steady hand to make that pearl border look so perfect! Great job!
