Snowflakes

Snowflake

Today is my first official post as a full fledged design team member at My Paper Crafting!! I had a great time as a guest designer for the 25 Days of Christmas and was thrilled when Melin asked me to stay on the team. They are a great group of women!

The project for this week was to do something with a snowflake to honor the students at Sandy Hook Elementary. We were to make a snowflake to send, but the PTA closed that (too many snowflakes) before I got to do it so I made a snowflake project instead. You can click on this link to the Newtown Public schools to find other ways you can help if you feel so inclined.

The snowflakes were cut from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge. The large bronze at 2 1/2" and the white at 2". I let the background paper guide the color choices for the card. It's not your normal winter colors, but I kind of like that. The stamp is from an older set from my stash.

I hope everyone had a good holiday season and that 2013 is good to you!

**I apologize for the picture quality. My computer is not working so I have to put in unretouched photos for now**
